MedViz – a Research & Development cluster in Bergen. MedViz is a cluster of groups performing interdisciplinary research in advanced image analysis and visualisation bridging the gap between “bench and bedside”. MedViz also includes imaging physics and fundamental biomedical translational research. Our mission is to promote the development of biomedical and clinical imaging technologies with the ultimate goal of improving diagnosis and treatment of patients. MedViz wants to develop new clinical methods for potential commercialisation by means of denovo software for analysis, decision support and visual communication.

PhD Course in Clinical MR Spectroscopy

The MR Cancer Group at the Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging, NTNU, is offering a PhD Course in Clinical MR Spectroscopy (MEDT8008) during spring 2014. Participating PhD Candidates and Research Program Medical Students from other Norwegian Institutions will receive travel and accommodation grants from MedIm – Norwegian Research School in Medical Imaging. These grants cover domestic flight and hotel accommodation, as well as diet,  for the duration of the course. MedIm will, in individual cases, also offer travel and accommodation grants to post-doctoral fellows who are accepted as participants. Please contact me for more info on support to post-docs.
